The appellants contend that the trial court had no jurisdiction on February 23, 1940, to set aside the verdict and grant a new trial for the reason that more than sixty days had elapsed after the rendition of the verdict and that the court had not extended the time for cause, relying upon sec. 270.49 (1), Stats.
