Plaintiff Marie-Therese Leicht (“Leicht”) is suing her employer, Hawaiian Airlines, Inc. (“Hawaiian”). Leicht says that Hawaiian violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”) and the Americans With Disabilities Act (“ADA”) by permanently filling her former position when she was on an indefinite leave of absence undergoing treatment for lung cancer.
