COUGHLIN, Judge:

At a judge alone special court-martial on 14 and 80 May and 11 June 1984, appellant was found guilty, contrary to his pleas, of the larceny of property belonging to the Marine Corps Exchange at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 921. He was sentenced to confinement at hard labor for 6 months, forfeiture of $397.00 pay per month for 6 months, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a bad conduct discharge.
