OPINION
BOYCE F. MARTIN, JR., Circuit Judge.
Maurice Munson, a Michigan prisoner, appeals the district court’s denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. For the reasons that follow, we AFFIRM.
I
A jury convicted Munson of two counts of armed robbery in violation of M.C.L. § 750.529 and two counts of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct (penetration) in violation of M.C.L. § 750.502(G)(1).
