OPINION

Before BRYNER, C.J., and COATS and MANNHEIMER, JJ. MANNHEIMER, Judge.

Randall Williams appeals his conviction for driving while intoxicated, AS 28.35.030(a). We affirm.

On March 20, 1993, Alaska State Trooper Gary Tellep observed one car towing another down College Road in Fairbanks. Concerned that the tow chain was too short for safety, Trooper Tellep stopped the two vehicles. Williams was steering the car that was being towed.
