STEELE, District Judge.
This matter comes before the Court on Defendants’ Motion for Leave to Amend Answer and Counterclaim (doc. 38) and Defendants’ Motion to Strike Plaintiffs Opposition (doc. 50). Both motions are ripe for disposition at this time.
I. Background.
Plaintiff Bartronics, Inc. brought this action against defendants Power-One, Inc. and Magnetek, Inc., alleging a claim for patent infringement with respect to a patent as to which Bartronics purports to be the assignee.
