The LaRouche Campaign (“TLC”), TLC’s treasurer Edward Spannaus, Frederic Henderson, Patrick K. Barrett and Terry Edward Allen brought this action against the defendant Federal Election Commission (“FEC” or “Commission”) for declaratory and injunctive relief, alleging that the Commission’s investigative, enforcement and other regulatory actions against TLC are motivated by bad faith and are interfering with plaintiffs’ campaign activities and infringing their First Amendment rights.
