This is an appeal by defendant on questions of law from a judgment of the Court of Common Pleas in an action on a promissory note, with warrant of attorney attached, authorizing any attorney at law to enter appearance of defendant, waive the issuance of service of process and confess judgment.

The note was executed on August 3,1922, in the principal sum of $2,250 due in one year after date, with interest at 6fo per annum.
