HALBERT, District Judge.

In this action to condemn land located within the boundaries of Yosemite National Park, for the use and development of the park, plaintiff United States of America seeks a protective order under Rule 30(b) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure prohibiting the taking of depositions from Government appointed land appraisers. The Government requests an order prohibiting inquiry into the following: (1) the appraiser’s opinion of the value of the property; (2) the appraiser’s opinion of the highest and best use of the property; (3) any matter of opinion, or conclusion…
