The defendant is a corporation organized under chapter 186, Laws 1885, for the purpose of insuring upon the mutual plan, amongst other hazards, damage by hail to growing crops. For some time prior to March 1, 1903, the defendant was duly authorized to transact such insurance business in the state of Iowa. . Its license to do so expired upon February 28, 1903, and since then it has been refused admission to that state.
