Quinn, Chief Judge:

The accused was arraigned before a special court-martial convened by the Commanding Officer, United States *297Naval Station, Washington, D. C., on two charges in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. One charge alleged the larceny of clothing belonging to another sailor; the other set out a violation of Navy regulations. The accused pleaded not guilty to the first and guilty to the second, but was convicted of both charges, and sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for six months, and partial forfeiture of pay.
