OPINION
{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Terry Patrick Kraus, appeals his conviction and sentence in the Warren County Court of Common Pleas for felonious assault and domestic violence.
{¶ 2} In March 2006, appellant was living with his girlfriend of two years, K.F., in K.F.'s condominium in Middletown, in Warren County, Ohio. On March 2, 2006, appellant got into an argument with K.F. after he arrived home late. At one point, K.F. flipped over a plate of food that appellant was carrying, and appellant knocked her down.
