Appellee as plaintiff below sued the appellants Texas & Pacific Railway Company, St. Louis & San Francisco and Texas Railway Company, and the St. Louis & San Francisco Railway Company, to recover damages for delay in the transportation and rough handling of a train of cattle from latan, Texas, to Henryetta, Indian Territory. The defendants answered by general denial and specially pleaded that the contracts were in writing and that each had limited its liability to its own line of road, and that the cattle were poor and weak and not fit for shipment, and that the…
