WAGNER, Senior Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a military judge sitting as a special court-martial, of unauthorized absence, disrespect, and failure to obey a lawful order, in violation of Articles 86, 91, and 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886, 891, and 892. The military judge sentenced the appellant to a bad-conduct discharge and confinement for 57 days. There *604was no pretrial agreement. The convening authority approved the sentence as adjudged.
