GEORGE W. LATIMER, Judge:

On February 5, 1953, the accused was found guilty by a general court-martial of one offense of larceny of a package from the mail in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 728. He was sentenced to be dishonorably discharged from the service, to forfeit all pay and allowances, and to be confined at hard labor for one year. The convening authority approved. The board of review reduced the offense found to larceny of property worth no more than twenty dollars, reduced the term of confinement to six months, and affirmed.…
