This suit is upon a policy of insurance issued by tbe Home Fire Insurance Company of Ornaba on May 27, 1893, to one Denton, upon bis dwelling-bouse, insuring against loss or damage by fire to tbe amount of $800 for one year from tbe date of tbe policy. On July 19, 1893, tbe insured building was burned, and subsequently Den-ton, for a valuable consideration, assigned He policy and *147bis rights thereunder to Wilber S.
