GOOLSBY, J.:
The circuit court dismissed EFCO Corporation’s claim for a mechanic’s lien against Renaissance on Charleston Harbor, LLC, and thereafter awarded Renaissance attorney fees and costs pursuant to section 29-5-10(a) of the South Carolina *615Code.1 EFCO appeals the award of attorney fees and costs, arguing (1) Renaissance was not a prevailing party as required by the statute and (2) the amount of fees awarded was excessive. We affirm.2
