VANDE WALLE, Chief Justice.

[¶ 1] Glenda Miskin appealed from a judgment entered on a jury verdict which awarded John Wagner $3,000,000 in damages for libel, slander, and intentional interference with a business relationship. We affirm.

[¶ 2] In the fall of 1998, Miskin enrolled in a University of North Dakota (“UND”) physics class taught by Professor John Wagner. Wagner and Miskin give very different descriptions of their relationship and the nature of their communications.
