MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
MacLAUGHLIN, District Judge.
This matter is before the Court on the motion of plaintiff Minnesota Mining and *319Manufacturing Co. (3M) to remand this action to state court and on defendant Kirke-vold’s motion to dismiss or alternatively to quash service of process. For the reasons outlined herein, the Court has determined that both motions should be denied.
