Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Sullivan County (Hanofee, *508J.), rendered May 8, 1986, upon a verdict convicting defendant of two counts of the crime of robbery in the second degree.

On the evening of September 28, 1985 in the Village of Monticello, Anthony Schwab was attacked and robbed.
