THE COURT.
Under the provisions of section 2 of the Public Liability Act of 1923 (Stats. 1923, p. 675; DBering’s Gen. Laws of California, 1937, Act 5619, p. 2630), the plaintiffs husband and wife brought this action to recover damages for injuries sustained by the plaintiff Mary Gibson, an aged woman, when she fell down three cement steps at the south entrance of the Mendocino County court house, which is situated in the city of Ukiah, California.
