Appellant Barker brought suit in the district court of Orange County against Wein-garte.n Riverside. Company, Inc., appellee, for damages for personal injuries alleged to have been suffered by his wife, Helen Barker, as a result of the consumption by Mrs. Barker of unwholesome meat purchased from the Weingarten Riverside Company, Inc. The appellee answered the suit and impleaded Geo. A. Hormel & Company, alleging that if. the barbecued meat which it sold to the appellant was contaminated, that it was purchased from such third party and if any recovery was had against…
