OPINION OF THE COURT

SMITH, Judge:

On 15 December 1986, appellant was tried by a special court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members at Taegu, Korea. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of one specification of missing movement through neglect and one specification of disobeying a superior commissioned officer, in violation of Articles 87 and 90, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 887 and 890 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ], respectively. He was sentenced to a bad conduct discharge, confinement for four months, forfeiture of $426.00 pay per month for three months, and…
