This case arises from an investigative report entitled “Injustice For All”, produced and broadcast by the defendant, the American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. The report, presented on ABC’s “20/20” television program, inquired into allegations that Judge James Barbuto of Akron, Ohio had regularly granted leniency to criminal defendants in exchange for sex.
