On the 29th of December, 1894, plaintiff insti-' tuted a suit in the Civil District Court for the parish of Orleans against defendant, asking judgment for nine hundred and forty-three dollars with vendor’s privilege on certain property which it alleged ' it had sold to defendant. With this reference to these sales, plaintiff alleged that it had on the 5th and 20th of July, and 5th of October, 1894, contracted, sold and delivered to the defendant, goods, wares and merchandise consisting of bedroom sets, bookcases desks, sideboards, china…
