Appellants Thomas J. and Josephine Porreco appeal from the dismissal of their superior court action under Code of Civil Procedure sections 583.310 and 583.360 for failure to bring the case to trial within five years after the filing of the complaint. Appellants contend that the parties’ stipulation to submit the case to arbitration precluded dismissal.
