In this cause judgment was rendered below in favor of appellee Farmers’ Life Insurance Company against appellants Boston & Texas Corporation, A. W. Seelig-son as its receiver, and S. A. Hopkins individually, for $110,288.98 as the aggregate sum found to be due the insurance company at that time as the owner and holder of 13 promissory notes for the sum of $5,000 each, dated January 13, 1913, due January 13, 1918, executed by the Boston & Texas Corporation, indorsed by S. A. Hopkins, and payable to the Continental Trust Company of Houston, Tex., together with the foreclosure of a deed of trust…
