Pursuant to my order of March 22, 2011, see Report of Hearing and Order re: Status (Docket No. 51), the defendants filed a motion in limine regarding whether comparative negligence applies in this case in its current posture, see Defendants’] Motion in Limine on the Applicability of Comparative Fault and Proximate Cause After Default (“Motion in Limine ”) (Docket No. 52). For the reasons that follow, I grant the defendants’ motion as limited herein.
