We are primarily concerned with the question whether the statute of frauds bars specific performance of a contract to sell land due to the inadequacy of the legal description when the description contained in the written memorandum agreement, although insufficient in itself to identify the land, coincides with a description appearing on a sketch prepared by the seller stating the dimensions of the land and locating it geographically as abutting upon two intersecting public streets in a specified section and…
