This action is brought to recover the balance due upon the sale of merchandise in accordance with the terms of a written contract. The defendant Trerice is the principal debtor. Dawson and Sharrard are his sureties. The plaintiff is a foreign corporation of the State of Illinois. It has no factory or office in Michigan, and has not complied with the statutes of this State relative to foreign corporations doing business here. .
