In April 2007, this Court issued its opinion in the above matter, implementing a plain-meaning approach to Section 1738(c) of the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law (the “MVFRL”). See Sackett v. Nationwide Mut. Ins. Co., 591 Pa. 416, 919 A.2d 194 (2007) (“Sackett I ”). Section 1738 concerns the stacking of uninsured and underinsured motorist insurance (“UM/UIM”) coverage and the waiver of stacked coverage. See 75 Pa.C.S. § 1738.
