Defendant, Michael Zurenko, appeals from judgments entered upon jury verdicts convicting him of one count of sexual assault on each of his two daughters. We reverse and remand for a new trial.

A physician, acting as pediatric consultant to the Department of Social Services, examined both children. During the examinations, the physician noticed physical abnormalities which suggested the occurrence of sexual abuse.
