Defendant, Paul Veloz, appeals the judgment of conviction entered upon jury verdicts finding him guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) and being an habitual traffic offender. We affirm. During voir dire, one of the panel members related that, in addition to being employed as a server at a restaurant, she also worked approximately 30 hours per week as an unpaid reserve police officer on a volunteer basis. She indicated that she was not currently being paid for her work as a reserve police officer, but that she would be employed and compensated as a full-time…
