Two actions are involved in this appeal, one by Marvin M. Jenkins, hereinafter referred to as plaintiff, to recover damages for personal injuries suffered by him as a result of the claimed negligence of defendant while Marvin was in his employ as farm hand; and a companion action by plaintiff’s father, W. M. Jenkins, to recover damages for medical and hospital bills incurred on account of the injuries sustained by Marvin, who was 16 years of age at the time of the accident.
