The plaintiff instituted this interpleader action to determine the rights of competing claimants to the proceeds of a fire insurance claim made by the named defendant insured. The trial court held that a municipal tax lien on the insurance proceeds was invalid, and ordered that the funds be paid jointly to the insured and his mortgagee.
