Plaintiffs commenced this action, which claims violations of the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq., the New York State Human Rights Law, and the New York City Administrative Code, on March 22, 2007. Plaintiffs’ claims arise out of two attempts to rent an apartment at 15 Broad Street in New York City, which they allege were unsuccessful because plaintiff M.M. is in a wheelchair and has a service dog and because of plaintiffs’ familial status.
