ALSOP, Chief Judge.
This action comes before the court on the motions of Memorial Blood Center of Minneapolis (“Memorial”) and the American National Red Cross (“Red Cross”) for summary judgment. Both defendants claim that this action is barred by the applicable statute of limitations. Additionally, Memorial requests summary judgment on the grounds that it was not negligent because it complied with all regulations and standards of the blood banking industry in effect in 1984.
