This is a workmen’s compensation case originating as a judicial case in the Circuit Court of Leon County, Florida. The record reflects the following material facts. J. W. Bowen, a young man, around 7:00 o’clock A.M., on February 25, 1942, when traveling or walking a highway from his home on the outskirts of Tallahassee to the place of business of the Pendleton Grain & Provision Company, his employer, was struck and killed by a motor vehicle.
