The appellant in this criminal case was charged with two separate counts of rape committed by engaging in deviate sexual activity with two girls under twelve years of age. A jury trial was held, and the appellant moved for directed verdicts as to both counts of rape at the close of the State’s case. The trial court directed a verdict in favor of appellant as to the charge involving the victim A.E., but denied the motion as to the charge involving the victim J.B.
