This is an application pursuant to section 608 of the Insurance Law to permit petitioner to serve a notice of claim nunc pro tunc upon the Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corporation (hereinafter MVAIC).

The facts, as they appear from the moving affidavit, are these. The accident in question occurred on December 20, 1963. Petitioner retained her attorneys on February 7, 1964. In response to their letter of February 10, the driver of the automobile that struck the petitioner advised them, by telephone, that he was insured with the Home Insurance Company.
