When tried before a Marine Corps special court-martial convened at Camp Nara, Japan, McCoy pleaded, and was found, guilty under a specification alleging the wrongful appropriation of “a wallet with contents, including Military Payment Certificates, of a value of about one hundred and twenty dollars ($120.00),” in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 121, 50 USC § 715.
