Mario Alonso Marquez-Ramos appeals the district court’s order granting the Attorney General’s motion to dismiss his complaint for writ of mandamus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1361. 1 Our jurisdiction arises under 28 U.S.C. § 1291, and we affirm. 2
Mr. Marquez-Ramos is a Mexican national currently incarcerated in the federal prison in Florence, Colorado. In 1991, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of marijuana and was sentenced to a prison term of 144 months.
