Plaintiff-wife, Shirley Patton, filed her complaint against defendant-husband, David Patton, on 5 February 1982, seeking a pendente lite award of alimony, custody, child support, and attorney’s fees. The trial court entered an order awarding the wife custody of the children, possession of the marital residence, $500 per month child support, $500 per month alimony pendente lite, and $4,000 in attorney’s fees.
