This was an action brought by the defendant in error against the town of Norman to recover dam'ages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by reason of a defective sidewalk on one of the streets of said town. The defense interposed by the town was that the sidewalk at the point where the injury occured was in a reasonably safe condition for travel., and that the town had no notice, either actual or constructive, of the defect which caused the injury; that if the sidewalk was out of repair the plaintiff had knowledge of the same, and the injury…
