In this case, which is one of many arising from a dispute between the City of Los Angeles and its policemen and firemen who suffered work-incurred disability, we must decide whether the city may properly take a complete credit against its workmen’s compensation liability to these employees on the ground that it paid disability pensions from the City of Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Fund (hereinafter called “disability pensions’’).
