Eastman Gas Company, L.L.C. (Eastman), 1 operates a service as an intermediate transporter of natural gas. Under this service, Eastman collects natural gas from the wellheads or collection points of gas producers, meters the amount collected, transports the gas in its pipeline to points of sale, collects from the purchasers, and then pays the producer of the natural gas, reserving unto itself a fee for the collection, transportation, and marketing of the natural gas.
