In this case the judgment was in favor of the plaintiff and against the defendant Bryant, and was given upon a motion based upon the insufficiency of the answer interposed by said defendant. By the complaint it was sought to charge the defendant and his codefendant, as copartners, for the reasonable value of merchandise alleged to have been sold and delivered to them. The complaint was verified. The appellant first answered with an unverified answer, making a general denial. He later filed an amended answer which was verified.
