NIOHOLLS, J.
The plaintiff appeals from a judgment of the district court rejecting his demand and dismissing his suit.
The prayer of his petition was for judgment in his favor for $10,000 as damages resulting from the following facts:
“That defendant company was engaged in the manufacture of lumber, and owns and operates large sawmill plants in Jackson and Bienville parishes, La.; that in connection with the sawmill plant which is situated at Hodge, Jackson parish, La., it employs a largo number of men, and owns and operates at Hodge, La., a large commissary or general…
