These are combined appeals. In Continental Ins. Co. v. Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation, the defendant, Connecticut Natural Gas Corporation (CNG), is appealing from a judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff, The Continental Insurance Company (Continental). In that case, the trial court found that Continental was entitled to reimbursement of funds paid to CNG under a contract of insurance after CNG received an arbitration award allegedly covering the same loss.
