The plaintiff, Utica Mutual Insurance Company (“Utica”) brings this subrogation action against Denwat Corporation (“Denwat”) and Minwax Company, Inc. (“Min-wax”) after satisfying a claim by its insured, Marlborough Country Barn (“Country Barn”) for losses suffered as a result of a fire allegedly caused by a product manufactured and distributed by the named defendants.
